History
The Queensland Community
Foundation in its current form was established in 1997 under the
trusteeship of the Public Trustee of Queensland. A Board
of Governors was appointed to help foster the growth of the
foundation.
The name had been used previously by ANZ Trustees but the use
of the name was allowed when it became apparent that the Public
Trustee of Queensland had the capacity and desire to drive the
development and growth of the fund.
