Donations
Tax deductible donations can be directed through the Queensland
Community Foundation to charities, big and small. They are listed
on our website under sub-funds.
You can make tax deductible donations by:
- considering which charity or regional community
foundation you would prefer your gift to go to; or
- leave it to the QCF Board of Governors to decide when grants
distributions are made from the QCF General Fund; or
- by establishing a sub-fund and making tax deductible
donations during your lifetime. The income can then be
distributed annually to charities and non profit organsations.
The Public Trustee, along with the Board of Governors will
ensure the proper use of funds. If a cure is found, or if the
original intent of the donor cannot be fulfilled for other
reasons, then the money will be used for a similar purpose.
Any size donation can make the difference.
If you wish to give a donation or make a bequest to charities
including those not listed under QCF's sub-funds, you can still do
this through QCF.
Just call (07) 3360 3854 to find out more. Recipients of
these donations must have gift deductible status from the
Australian Tax Office.
